I made my first visit to Coconut Cove recently. From the moment I called until I checked out I was made to feel welcome. Unlike many other gay establishments Coconut Cove was nothing short of the best in accommodations. If I had a need it was met sometimes before I had a chance to ask. The entire staff portrayed a genuine attitude of being there for the guest unlike some other gay establishments that exuded an attitude that is less than sincere. I look forward to returning as soon as possible, and for many more times.

My partner and I stayed here at Coconut Cove for Pride Weekend (Mar 11-14th). We've stayed here many times in the past and continues to love the place. Within the last year, David has made some gorgeous improvements to the outside lounge area, replacing some of the more dated furnishings with some much more contemporary and comfortable patio furnishings. The staff is WONDERFUL. I had nothing bad to say about them at all. They're all very attentive and a joy to be around. The guest, as usual, that weekend were also very friendly. Typically when we go to Fort Lauderdale, we spend nights out in the bars/clubs, this time we spent Friday and Saturday nights at Coconut Cove socializing with the fellow guests and only went out on Sunday night, where we also met several of our new friends!

It really is the staff and the guests that are attracted to this place that make for an awesome vacation experience. Property has been very nicely maintained, comfortable rooms; and the staff is always around cleaning something. Small property so you're never more than a minute from your room. Attracts a very friendly and relaxed clientele. This was our 2nd stay and there will be many more.

Dear Traveler,
If you are a returning guest, thank you for considering us for your next vacation we look forward to seeing you again soon. If you are a first time visitor thank you for stopping by. Please take your time to look around the site to learn more about our wonderful gay guest house here in Ft. Lauderdale.
Located in the original Ft. Lauderdale--Las Olas beach area, a short 1/2 block from the beach and 1/2 block from the water taxi on the inland waterways, this landmark building is one of a few examples left of a uniquely South Floridian architectural style. Built in 1939, the three-story structure embraces a lush courtyard tiered with "Key West" influenced, plantation-style wooden verandas and louvered doors opening from the spacious guest quarters.
Fortunately, the loving care of various owners before me over the decades have preserved the full effect and charm of this resort and we hope that our most discerning guests will be as enchanted by these surroundings today as in the past.
At Coconut Cove, today's traveler will enjoy the romance of the last century with the comforts of the new millennium: We offer non-smoking, comfortably air-conditioned, Wi-Fi wireless computer connections; custom-made King and Queen beds, 16-inch pillow top mattresses, full bathrooms, efficiency or full kitchens, daily maid service, remote color cable TV with DVD. Enjoy your morning newspapers and extensive continental breakfast either on the veranda or the deck bar. All these amenities and, of course, our personal service combine to give the maximum pleasure and satisfaction to our guests whether they stay for a few nights before or after a cruise or just enjoying the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.
Please do not hesitate to contact me personally if I can help you in anyway as you plan your next vacation to south Florida.
Sincerely,
David Medici
